Thanks! |

You don't need to install it, it's already included.
If it doesn't find the included gmic-qt plugin, select it manually. It is at the same place as the Krita executable. |

On Ubuntu 17.04 I reset Krita's config and the qt plugin's prompting to link it up. As it should be built in now, I'm trying to find where the plugin's located. I checked the /home/.local/.share/ folders as well as the /usr/share/ krita folders, too. Any ideas where to check?

In the bin folder, next to the krita binary.

On Ubuntu With Krita 3.2.0 appimage I see it in "/tmp/.mount_0DzNaD/usr/bin/gmic_krita_qt" (the letters after .mount_ are random) |

I noticed that as well after testing with different options. Preferably, I'd want to use the binary build installed via the Lime repository, that way I'd be able to make use of terminal updates without having to download separate appimages (though I think the appimages are excellent for testing unstable or experimental builds). Going off of what was gleaned from the settings in the appimage after cleaning the confige file as well as boudewijn's tip about checking the bin file (assuming /usr/bin/), I'm still unable to locate the plugin for it to work in the binary build. I also tried reinstalling Krita aside from upgrading from 3.1.2 which I did originally. While it may be possible I'm missing something really simple, it's seeming like the binary install's just not coming with the plugin (at least in my case that is) |
