Empty Text Box?

Mon Sep 04, 2017 4:15 pm
Hi!

I am a newbie using Krita 3.2.1 under Windows 7 Pro (64 bit).

After creating a Custom Document (144 px by 72 px at 72 PPI), selecting the Text Tool (which, by default, is set to the Artistic Mode), clicking and dragging the mouse creates a Text Box with a green border and with the words “Artistic Text” already displayed.

To enter text, the words “Artistic Text” have to first be deleted by using the Backspace Key.

Is there a way to create an empty text box in Artistic Mode?

Thank you!
