I'm trying to export a PNG image sequence for an animation project but I can't check the box that says store alpha channel (transparency). Why is this unavailable? I just need all the frames exported as PNGs with transparency, I'm not trying to render anything. Any help would be appreciated.

See if what you are doing matches up to these instructions.

Windows version?... if so, I can confirm this "bug" on build 3.2.1.
I had to use the Windows build yesterday and the transparency check box was grayed and I couldn't mark it either.
The linux build works flawlessly, PNG transparency is available when you want to export.
Just tested, happens on linux [Build 3.2.1] too.
Single image export... Transparency OK.
Image sequence... No transparency.

English is not my first language, sorry in advance!
