Hi! I'm a new Krita user and in general I think it's awesome. I seem to have a very specific problem with one particular Krita file that I've spent a large amount of time on though.
In this file I can create a new vector shape on a vector layer. I give this shape a custom pattern fill. When I save the file, pattern in that shape changes to a specific custom pattern used elsewhere in the image. Everything else about the shape remains the same: the shape, filter layers, the scaling of the pattern. But the pattern itself changes every time. Is there a setting that can cause this to happen? Or is this something I should be aware of and can work around? I don't seem to have this problem if I create a new image from scratch so I'm at a loss at where I've gone wrong. |

That sounds like a bug in 3.0+, we've revamped vectors for 4.0 precisely because there were many of these kind of bugs. For now I recommend you to use inkscape or similar programs for vector work until Krita 4.0 is ready.

Unfortunately I'm using a mixture of vector and raster layers that makes using Inkscape not very feasible. I guess I'll just have to suck it up until the next release.
