I am running arch linux with the xfce4 desktop environment. When I try to save my prject as a krita document there is a segfault. Sometimes, while trying to open the program, the whole system crashes and I am sent back to the sddm greeter (i.e I get logged out). I realy like this application I don't want to switch for another one, if I get things to work that'd be awesome.

This is what I get when running krita through a terminal:

Code: Select all
qt5ct: using qt5ct plugin
No "breeze" available.

This log is not useful; we'd need a gdb backtrace. But since you're using Arch, my bet is that you've got some Deepin components installed, and one of those components is an utterly and completely broken qimageio plugin. The crash kicks in when the file dialog tries to create previews for the images in your Pictures folder. Uninstall all Deepin components. https://github.com/linuxdeepin/deepin-i ... r/issues/2
