Hi,
I am trying to recover some autosaved krita files. They both show up at the program opening, asking me if i want to recover them, but When i try to do so, i get an "unknown file type". message Any solution to this ? The same problem. I come back , to reopen last nights work , in my folder ,theres a file named : .zd.jpg-autosave Wich would be fine if only krita would open it. But again i get the message " could not open file REason : unknown file type. But this is a file created by krita. Krita autosaves the file with .jpg to the end but file properties says KRA File Either way krita wont open it and for now my work is lost. Thanks Ndahl

That's a bug in 3.3.0. You can use an older version of Krita to open the autosave files for now; I have already fixed the bug and will make a 3.3.1 release this week.

You can download an older version from May, at here https://download.kde.org/Attic/krita/3.1.4/

Might be better to go only one version back, to 3.2.1: https://download.kde.org/stable/krita/3.2.1/

You can also turn off the autosave in the settings, btw, but for now choose the 3.2.1 version with the bit detph of your version of windows. |

Well even if a autosave feature is on, I recommend that you save along the way. |
