Hi there,

I'm getting this error while trying to render an animation with ffmpeg :

/usr/bin/ffmpeg: ./lib/libz.so.1: version `ZLIB_1.2.9' not found (required by /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libpng16.so.16)

Any help is appreciated,
Thanks

How did you install ffmpeg? It looks like it's that that cannot find its libraries.

Hi Boudewijn,

I installed ffmpeg from repositories :
sudo apt-get install ffmpeg

I'm running Ubuntu 17.10 and ffmpeg 3.3.4-2

ffmpeg path is /usr/bin/ffmpeg and I naturally selected the same from the Krita rendering menu

I found this similar post https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2375927 which makes me thing that the problem could be the new Ubuntu version.

Hello

I have the same problem with appimage since installing Ubuntu 17.10 on my computer.
Then I used the ppa ( Krita Lime) and everything works.
