Hello,
I am trying to learn how to use Krita and I want to make a randomized scattered effect (like ice cream sprinkles toppings) across the top portion of the canvas. The closest I can get to achieving this is using the spray tool but it looks too noisy and ugly. Could I get some tips on how to achieve this effect please? Thanks, Nick |

First you need a custom brush tip.
Then do the following: Select a brush preset from the Pixel engine. Press F5 to go to brush settings. Click on the Brush Tip section and select your custom brush tip. Or try to mimic it on the Auto Brush Tip settings. It's up to you. Unmark the Enable Pen Settings checkbox on both Opacity and Flow sections. (optional) Unmark the Size checkbox. (optional) Mark the Rotation, Scatter and "Color > Hue" checkboxes. Mark "Fuzzy Dab" and unmark "Pressure" on Rotation, Scatter and "Color > Hue" sections. Happy sprinkling. |

I think this method will work for you.
Also i forgot to mention that you need to select a saturated color to get color variation. |

Is there anyway of increasing the radius of the brush to increase the scatter zone which doesn't effect the size of the sprinkles? If that makes sense? It's what I'm looking for though so thanks

On the scatter section, increase the strenght value.
On the brush tip setcion, unmark the Auto checkbox and increase the spacing value. |
