Digitizing Tablets

Fri Nov 10, 2017 8:33 pm
I have an old Wacom Graphire tablet. It works well in Krita but the active area is only 4x5! I would like a tablet with a larger area but not priced over $200. Can anyone suggest a good one that works well with Krita and Win 10 (Wacom, Huion, Monoprice, etc) ??? ... Thnx

https://docs.krita.org/List_of_Tablets_Supported Supported one are the ones we, well, actively support, because there's a dev who has one of those things and thus can do bugfixes for it. Other than that, you need to check prices yourself.

I use the Wacom Intuos Draw which works fine on Windows 10 with it's supplied driver and has the driver included with Debian/Ubuntu/Mint Linux distributions. It's a nice tablet with an area a little smaller than A5 in size. It's not expensive and you can probably get one second hand on eBay. (It may be that you feel you need a tablet larger than this, I don't know.)
I also used to use on old Wacom Graphire tablet and I found that the larger tablet caused initial stress because of the need for greater movement of my arm and wrist, until I got used to it.
