Hello! I am new to Krita and this forum... I am experiencing some problems while trying to convert images from RGB to CMYK: the conversion seems to work fine, but if I save the converted file as a .jpg and then open it again in Krita the color space has changed again to RGB. The colours themselves look different from the original RGB file, but the colour space remains RGB. If I save the file as .tiff this doesn't happen: once I open it up again the colour space is CMYK, just like I wish it to be.
Also, I have a .jpg file I converted from RGB to CMYK last week, and if I open up that one everything seems to work fine, meaning the colour space is indeed CMYK. I tried figuring out what I'm doing different from last week, but I have no idea. Would anyone be able to help? Thanks! (I hope I explained myself clearly, as I'm not a native English speaker) |

Check if you chose to embed the colorprofile or not.

Yes I tried both checking and unchecking the "embed icc profile" option while saving and nothing changes

It's now working, I have no idea what changed. I kept trying with different files, and suddenly it worked again! Thanks anyway!
