Why is the triangle version of the Advanced Color Selector oriented the way it is? If it was oriented like a "play" button, the value and saturation axes would be vertical and horizontal, but the way it is oriented now, those axes are tilted 30 degrees. This seems less intuitive for me, unless I'm missing something. Also, is there any way I could rotate the color selector? (It's not a big deal, but I guess I'm pretty nitpicky) Thanks!

The nasty and dirty truth is that it is much harder to get the computer to draw it correctly when it's value side is horizontal. Unless some triangle drawing genius comes in to try and solve this, it'll stay the way it is. I spent 3 days two years ago on getting it tilted, but by the end it still didn't draw right and I was crying, so it will not be me.(Mind you, I am horrible with triangle maths, so...) |
