Magic Wand and other selection is not working sometimes.
But Seems they select I think because when i save, it tells me that file is modified. But I see nothing
It only solves when I restart Krita

I seem to be having the same problem -

Selections are invisible, as well as transformations, they are there and I can manipulate them, but I cannot see what I am doing at all. It always happens and restarting the program does not seem to make a difference.
