Krita Text tool (Fonts)

Sat Jan 06, 2018 7:41 pm
Is there anyway to configure and overwrite the default text tool to the font that I want? Everytime I use the text tool it resets back to the default MS Shell Dlg 2 font and it is time consuming to manually change it every time i need to use the text tool

Not in 3.3, we're overhauling the text tool for 4.0, and there the font you choose for new texts is remembered eve across Krita sessions.

How about the spacing between the sentences? Is there anyway to make the words more compacted, as i'm trying to make some webcomics,
so I need to make use of all the space in the panel. And how long on the ETA until 4.0 gets released? Thanks for the fast reply

spacing between sentences is more sane in 4.0, in fact the majority of text bugs are gone in 4.0, but 4.0 will take a while to be released because of other bugs(eta is march). We recommend using inkscape for the text until then.

Okay, thanks for the advice I'll try inkscape. I can't wait for Krita 4.0 to be release. Thanks you guys on the hardwork for making Krita so awesome. It really helps out artists a ton
