So I just downloaded Krita on my new laptop, and it opens a window that is way too big to work with. The size of the text suggests that this is the base size, even though i know it's not because it worked perfectly fine on my old machine. I'm thinking it could be a bug, but I'm not sure. I've included a url to the pic that shows what happening. Help, please?

Check your windows display scaling and text scaling settings.

Can you post a screenshot of the display resolution settings in Windows? If you have multiple monitors, it would help if you can show the config of each of your monitors.

Thank you for the help! Changing the display scaling seems to have worked.

Hi I'm having the same problem. Even after downloading the new version (3.3.0) it has persisted. Enabling the Hi-DPI support made the problem worse and I tried to apply all the drop down selections for scaling mode in configure krita > display with no success. I say try because I can't get to any buttons at the bottom of the 'Configure Krita' window and I can't resize the window in the up-down direction so I selected each setting, hit enter, restarted the program and hoped for the best (not that it helped). Can you give me more detail on changing the display scaling? Thank you!

A quick google turned up: http://www.eizoglobal.com/support/compa ... index.html which has a nice clear explanation on how to change windows' display scaling.

Already tried this and it didn't work :/ Only Krita is affected and I've tried all the display setting on my computer anyway with no luck |

The next version of Krita has some reorganized dialogs in any case. That might help. Though I have no doubt that there will always be the possibility for people to configure their systems in a way that gui elements won't fit, for whatever application they notice that with.
