For some reason only in Krita, my pen strokes will continue long after I've lifted my pen from the tablet. It's the most annoying thing I've ever experienced and I've uninstalled and reinstalled both Krita and the tablet driver several times, replaced the pen nib, etc. Nothing is a permanent fix. Help.

We've heard this a couple of times before and in all cases, the reporter would come back to tell us that a driver update fixed the issue.

I have the same problem and I have a Watcom Intous 5 tablet with the latest update. This is the only software program that I have this problem with. I see in the forum that there are other Mac users with no problems. I wonder if it is a settings issue with Krita on the Mac?

No. There are no settings in Krita on macOS that relate to tablets... And no code: we use what Qt provides, which uses the platform API. You could try to reset Krita's settings (https://docs.krita.org/KritaFAQ#Resetti ... figuration) of course, but it's more likely that it's the wacom tablet driver.

At least on Windows, I have to reset the tablet driver's settings once a month or so...

Well, I re-installed driver for my tablet and still the same problem. I really don't understand because I don't have this problem with any other software. But then, there are Mac users here who say everything is alright. I'm stumped.

Just imagine how we as developers feel... You're dealing with one system, we're dealing with scores of reports like this, almost all of which get resolved a bit later with "I upgraded/downgraded/sidegraded the driver, and now it works!"

Sooooo there's no fix? Krita and this driver just aren't compatible?

We have one Huion tablet, but that's in Moscow, and one Mac, which is in the Netherlands. And, in any case, we do not have any krita-specific tablet code on OSX, like I said before. Sooooo.... Contact Huion: https://huion.deviantart.com/journal/Pr ... -439442607 .

I already have contacted Huion, there's no fix. I've tried older driver versions, reinstalling, replacing pen tips, it just doesn't work with Krita I guess.
