Hi - One feature that I've used a lot in versions below 4, is the ability to fill a vector shape with a pattern, and RESIZE the pattern [for better scaling for print media, for instance].
The normal 'fill' layer, that allows pattern fills, has no ability to re-scale the pattern [as far as I know anyway....?] So I use the vector shape tool to create a rectangle with a pattern fill that can fill my image with an overlaid, blended, pattern - that I can then scale up if needed. This does not work for me in the two betas [4.0] I've tried so far. Is this known about? Is this a bug? I would really love this feature back in due course ![]() |

It's a regression, but not a bug... We didn't manage to actually implement svg patterns in time for the release. It's one of the first things Dmitry will be working on after 4.0 is released, so it can be part of 4.1. And we expect 4.1 mid May. (It would be mid-April but, I'm off to the Libre Graphics Meeting in the last two weeks of April.)

![]() Many Many Many thanks for such a fantastic piece of software. I have [& use] After Effects, Photoshop, Cinema 4d, illustrator, and many others. But currently I go to Krita most often. I find it is the most enjoyable! [ ah....along with Moho 12 . . . ![]() |
