If I make my own paintbrushes and want to save them, they will be displayed, but when I close Krita and reopen, they are gone. I do not want to keep remaking them. What can I do that they stay?

I guess you reported the same issue before.
I suspect that the problem was a bug which has been fixed recently by Alvin: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=391325
Please, could you check with the latest Krita 4 pre-alpha, this is the Windows portable version: https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Krit ... 714b85.zip
