I'm trying to get a good brush i can use for hair like I've seen on programs such as paint tool sai, one where the brush gradually gets smaller at the tip like an inking brush but also gradually gets more faded. I've got to a point where its not perfect but I've made a decent brush that does what i want but my only problem is when i make a down stroke it starts faded and gets darker however i want the opposite (for it to be quite solid then fade off) I've not much experience with rotating my screen but if its the only option I'll give it a go. Thanks for any suggestions

Try using the fade sensor, and reverse the curve(so that it goes from topleft to bottom right):

Here's an example for using distance(which is very similar to fade) for adding lightness to a fur brush: https://docs.krita.org/Brush-tips:Fur

Doesn't seem to work for me sadly, I've tried this before posting and noticed when i did that it went dark to light to dark again instead, then i tried it without the 'use this curve for all options' box off and did it that way though this time it just stayed pretty much solid the whole way I'm going to keep trying
