Custom Palettes and Workspaces saved with updates?

My version of Krita (3.2.1) has gotten unstable, much more slow to open and with frequent waits while the program does some sort of processing (blue in-progress circle) that did not happen before. I'm thinking of updating to the latest version, but if I do that, what happens to my saved pop-up palettes and custom workspaces? Is there a way to update where this data would simply be carried over?

Thanks!

Assuming you use windows:

All configuration and resources are stored in the appdata folder in my documents. When you deinstall Krita it'll only remove the data in your Program Files folder.

For what it is worth, if you still get this issue after updating to 3.3.3, it might be worth it to reset the configuration file.

Another thing to think about is that we're releasing 4.0 this coming week, which outside from new features also contains a ton of bugfixes, which may make it worth it to wait a little.

Your reply couldn't be more useful, plus that's great about 4.0. I do use Windows, so I understand from your description that my customizations are in a whole separate directory, and therefore will be retained. I look forward to running the new version.

Thanks!
