Hi, this didn't work for me as well(as I'm using windows 10 on my laptop). However if you go to windows setting and go to display, you can shrink the texts for the whole computer. Probably be at 150 which is usually recommended. Change it to 125(100 is too small) and you could have the whole UI fit in your display. You could also find the buttons for the settings that were below the screen as well. As much as it is simple you could change it when ever you feel like it. Just put it back to 150 when your done with Krita. |

@boudewjin
Hi there. I'm experiencing a similar issue. I use Krita on a regular basis. I recently upgraded to Ubuntu 19.04, and the font sizes for all Krita GUI elements became impossibly small. Everything is about 25% or less of what it usually is -- so small, even with zoom I cannot read the text. I was using the app image originally, but to experiment with your Qt custom solution, I tried installing the PPA. Alas, although I was able to change the line in the file (there was a `%F` instead of a `%U`), this did not produce any noticeable difference. When you have time, could you please advise? Thanks. Great software. I use it all the time. |

One more thing to point out:
I tried resetting all the Gnome-Tweaks settings to default, and the small font issue went away. This is a good temporary fix, although I hope for something more permanent long term. |

This is Top result in google.
For people who use windows: 1. Open `Windows>Settings` 2. Type `env` in search to find `Edit Environment variable for your account` 3. Click on it to open `Environment Variable` window 4. Within section `User variable for <username>` 5. Click on `New` 6. Fill `name` with `QT_SCALE_FACTOR` and value with `1.25` -> play with it until you satisficed with result (to see result restart Krita) (can be any numbers like 1.5, 2, 2.3, etc.) 7. Press OK to save it. 8. Open (or close and open) Krita 9. Later you can click `Edit` on this value. Works good, scales whole interface. Wish you all the best! |
