I need to make a script that saves the file and its layers. I am new to Krita but not with python. Basically, I need to open an image and draw something on another layer and save both the image and the layer as separate files. Something like file001, file001_layer1. I know I can do it by hand but it's going to be very repetitive. So can someone point me in the right direction to get started?
PS I am assuming current version of Krita supports python scripting. |

4.0 supports python scripting, and even has such a script as part of the default example scripts. It's called the 'export layers' plugin and can be enabled via settings->configure Krita->python plugin manager.
