Hello :-)
Thanks for all your work on the new release, but I'm not sure if there's a problem about the new 4.0.1 appimage? The colour picker blending slider is missing from tool options, but I didn't see any mention of it being removed, when looking at the nightlies changelog.
Can I also ask if there's already been a bug report made regarding an issue with creating a new tag and that not populating when Krita is booted? (I need to click on 'All' then back to the created tag, for the brushes to show).

The color picker blending slider is only for 4.1, as it is a new feature. 4.0.1 is a bug fix release.

I've needed to go back to the previous appimage that contains the feature, but, after trying 4.0.1, I can't open that. EDIT: it was my own renaming this previous appimage that blocked it from opening; fresh copy to desktop fixed things.

Do I need to put in a bug report about the other issue?

Uhm, appimages are not supossed to affect one another. What can be is that Krita won't open multiple instances of itself unless you have configured it for that in the settings.

I'd edited my post. It was to do with renaming.

This sounds similar to bug 392421 that I reported. Basically, the popups that allow you to assign a tag are under the preset dialog on its first invocation. Because there is the simple workaround I marked it as minor.

Thank you for responding, glenl. Much appreciate. :-) I just tried out using linked words for the tag, instead of two separate words, and it seems to have fixed it.
