Map graphic tablet input to single window instead of screen?

I'm using Krita 4.0.1-2 on Arch Linux. I have two monitors, and that means that with my graphics tablet mapping to the screen, everything I draw is stretched horizontally. Is there a way to map my tablet to the window or the canvas rather than the screens?

The GIMP has a setting for this, but I can't find one in Krita. It would be a useful feature to have in the program itself if it doesn't exist.

Looks like there isn't currently that option in Krita, and I'm going to have to mess with my Xorg settings directly or find a bash script to do what I need, which isn't ideal. I guess I'll sort it out, though.

If your tablet is a Wacom, have you had a look at 'xsetwacom' and similar Linux utilities? There are supposed to be several GUI utilities but I get the impression that they are not well supported.

I'm using Huion on Arch Linux/Plasma with the Wacom module and the UI tool does this rather well, which is using, as ahabgraybeard mentioned, xsetwacom, with this utility there are shortcuts to dynamically change to full (both screens) left or right, given that you properly configured the screens themselves.

Other than Wacom or Huion, I don't know how many other tablets can be controlled by xsetwacom and how many features does it covers. Also, different GPU/DE may play a role on how screens are mapped, (nvidia here). Also may be worth to see what Gimp is using to "capture" the pen, whether is holding it within its own window or actually keeping it in a specific screen, that may give you a hint on what to use.
