Hi,
I use the backup files option, and it saved my work several times, great option ! But my folders end up filled with these files : .kra~ but also .jpg~ everytime I open them in Krita. I cannot hide them in Dolphin as they're not considered as hidden files + I guess it will quickly fill up my disk at this rate. A search in the forum gave me 2 interesting results, but they got no answers : 1. Someone asking for a redirection of the files in a dedicated folder : viewtopic.php?t=141048 2. Someone asking the same question as me, and a member said that these backup files could be autoremoved. But the creator of the topic did not find how to do that .viewtopic.php?t=138089 --> Any of these 2 solutions would fix all my problems. If not possible, I'd like to inspire from your experience as a user : how do you manage these backup files ? ![]() |

When you don't need them any longer, just delete them. If you do need them, rename them and remove the final tilde, so applications recognize them.

So, manually remove them is the only solution ?
Thanks anyway ! |
