I have a custom brush that has a Predefined brush tip (as opposed to Auto). I would like to create a resource bundle with this brush. It is my understanding I have to include the preopreset (.kpp) and the brush tip. In creating the bundle in the Manage Resource Bundles dialog (Settings|Manage resources...), I go to each of the Brush Presets and Brushes categories and add the appropriate items (2 total). They both show in the process of creating the bundle, but when I save it, only the Brush Preset is there in the Manage Resource Bundles dialog.
I have renamed the bundle to a .zip and looked at the contents. There is, in fact, only the Brush Preset, whereas if I look at ones by Deevad, for example, there are both Brush Presets and Brushes. The brush needs the brush tip to work, and it is not included in the bundle, even though I definitely added it during the creation process. How do I fix this? Or understand why it is happening? |

I've just created a bundle that did contain two random brushes and two random brush presets and then I made a backup copy and closed krita and then deleted the bundle from the bundles folder. I was then able to import the bundle from the backup copy with no problems. As a side note, I couldn't include any of the Krita default brush presets in the bundle, which may be deliberate, I don't know. Examination of the bundle as a .zip file showed the correct contents in my case.
Can you try putting some other brushes and brush presets into the bundle to see if they work? It's a long shot but experiments are free. I remember reading a comment (I think it was by boudewijn) that the resources management side of Krita would have lots of work done after the 4.1 release (due soon). |
