I used Krita for a while, but have been using Sketchbook Pro for about a week to evaluate it.
Now when I open Krita there are no palettes, and I can't figure out how to get them.
I don't know where this should be posted on the forum.

This cannot have anything to do with having used sketchbook pro. Try this:

* Press Tab to see if you were in canvas only mode.
* Press alt-w to open the window menu and select the default workspace from the workspace menu
