Did you install the Wacom drivers? Usually anything that Wacom makes works pretty well with krita

Your computer doesn't know how to handle what a Bamboo is, so it is going to have issues. Once your computer knows what to do with your pen, it will send Krita the correct pen information.

https://www.wacom.com/en/support/produc ... rt/drivers

Do a search for Bamboo and install it for your computer. You might have to restart. That usually does the trick

How is your pen plugging in to your laptop? I am a bit unclear what type of Bamboo pen you have. I am guessing you have some touchscreen tablet that came with a Bamboo?

Ahh ok. I am not very familiar with that type of setup or what is needed. Maybe someone else knows more about those types of laptops paired with the Wacom bamboo

Check whether enabling the Windows 8 Pointer check in Krita's settings makes a difference.

How would I do that

1. Start Krita.
2. Open the Settings menu.
3. Open the Configure Krita dialog.
4. Open the Tablet page.
5. Select the radio button marked "Windows &8+ Pointer Input (depends on Windows Ink) (EXPERIMENTAL)".
6. Restart Krita.
7. Try whether your pen works.
