Hi, I have a problem with Krita. I don't know where the problem is, or what data might be related to it, so I will give you guys as much information as I can. Sorry if it's too much info.
I use Krita 4.0.2 on an Acer Aspire ES1-512 with Windows 10 Home Version 1803. It has a x64-based Intel Celeron CPU N2840 processor at 2.16 GHz and 4 GB of RAM (3.88 GB of which is usable). I use Krita with my tablet, a Huion 680S tablet with the tablet driver installed. Everything was working perfectly fine with Krita after I set it up a few months ago, and I was really enjoying Krita. Today, I began work on a new piece. The pen sensitivity was working perfectly. Later today, I opened the program again to continue my new project, and the pen sensitivity was not working. No settings were changed between the two times I opened the program. I checked everything the internet has told me to do so far... Nothing is working. Please help me! I love using Krita and I don't want to let it go! Thanks! |

If really nothing has changed, not even a windows update, it's likely that the tablet or krita's settings got broken. I'm not sure how to reset Huion settings, for Krita's settings check https://docs.krita.org/en/KritaFAQ.html ... figuration . You can also ask on the Huion Krita forum: https://huion.deviantart.com/journal/Pr ... -439442607

Okay, and here is an update: I opened a new document in Krita today. The pen pressure worked. Excited, I opened my project back up... The pen pressure did not work. Might it have something to do with whether a document is open? Or just my specific project? I have no idea whether this will help solve the problem, but... better safe than sorry?

I tried both of these things, and unfortunately, neither of them worked. I also tried opening my project document, then clicking the little X in the corner of the image, and then opening a new document. The pen pressure did not work in the new document or the project document. |

Okay, after some more testing, I have discovered the solution!
As boudewijn suggested, I reset the Krita configuration by deleting the "kritarc" and "kritadisplayrc" documents in C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Local. There was no "kritaopenglrc" document for some reason. Maybe because I don't use OpenGL? I was disappointed at first because it still didn't work. But then, going into the Krita Settings > Configure Krita > Display and turning off Canvas Graphics Acceleration, the pen pressure began to work again in every document I opened! Thanks, boudewijin! I love Krita! |

Sigh. Another update.
After I opened my screen-recording software, OBS Studio 21.1.2, the pen pressure suddenly stopped working in my document. It had been working seconds earlier! I'm not sure what happened, but I can't get the pen pressure to work again. Please help! |
