i mostly use krita as my animation software and it's been going great until a little while ago. for some reason it wont let me interact with a frame when i move onto the next frame. i have to switch back and forth several times and it is SOOOOO FrUSTRATING..and god forbid i undo or try to open the tools menu, then i have to go back to flipping back and forth a bunch of times. can i fix this???

If it was working until a little while ago, what could have changed to make it stop working? Did you install a new version of Krita? What version and what OS are you using? Did you make any changes at all to your workspaces or settings?

What do you mean by saying that it won't let you "interact with a frame" when you move to the next frame? Is this an already completed animation that you are trying to make edits to or is it a new animation where you're creating new successive frames?

Can you post a screenshot that illustrates the problem? Can you describe a simple sequence of operations that fails due to this problem where the sequence of operations used to give you the expected results but now does not?
