I was working on a piece that added to 72 layers- a little cartoon that just had multiple poses and such from one basic pose, shading on the background, etc- with my autosave set to 15 minutes. Was working on it yesterday, as well as today, and the only save file was the one I did manually, so don't know about that. Anyways, Krita began not responding, which was fine and all, until it just shut down without warning. No autosave file, no nothing, except one finished picture saved from some of the poses I drew (basically useless in reuse, as I intended the first piece to be) and the manual save I did- which was just the background with its flat colors, around 7 layers in. Rambling aside (I am very tired, and very **** off right now, please excuse it) my question is, is there any way to rescue this lost progress? I have version 4.0.1, just the set up download and no folders I know of (saw an answer somewhere referencing a folder but I assume it was for an older build) on a windows (not sure if any of that would help), and I'm scouring the entire program for any relief, any answer. Please, tell me there's some hidden solution to this before I rip my hair out anymore. Thanks in advance!
TL;DR: Forced shut down of v.4.0.1 Krita, lost 70+ layers of progress with no autosave file for it, any way to retrieve this data at all? |

Hi,
quoting from an older post:
I'm not sure what is the equivalent of the "home" path on the Windows system though (I'm using Ubuntu)... |
