Which brush are you using. I tested it out on a Pixel brush engine and am not getting any asserts or issues. I am on a Windows machine now. That is a very common setting to change, so I am surprised that would be giving any type of error.
I am guessing it happens every time for you? |

I tested this with 'Bristle Frottis' and 'Chalk Grainy' and get exactly the same error message when carrying out the actions described by thmichels.
I'm using Krita 4.1.0 appimage on Debian 9. P.S. The 4.2.0 pre-alpha has this error but the 4.0.3 verison does not. It looks like Thomas will have the pleasure of making a bug report ![]() |

Hello again,
@scottpetrovic Yes, that'll happen every time i try to resize via drag any predefined brushtip in the brush editor. Resizing any brush in the toolbar will function properly. If it will work in Windows, then it seems it's an Linux issue? @ahabgreybeard Thanks for confirming this bug... @all Can someone help me to make a correct bug report, please? I'm not certain how to do it right ![]() Thanks, Thomas |

The bugtracking website is here: https://bugs.kde.org/
You'll need to sign up and confirm via an email address then it's just a question of signing in each time. The hardest part is going through the list of KDE applications to find 'krita'. It's fairly self explanatory and I suggest that you read a few bug reports first to get the flavour of how they are generally written. There's a guide to wrinting bug reports too, so happy reading. The problem you found is very easy to describe and duplicate so it's a good first bug experience. Please reply with a link to the bug report that you create. Good luck. |
