I am new to Krita, but I heard it is like Clip Studio Paint and I decided to try it out.
I have a touchscreen Dell laptop with a paired Bluetooth stylus. I tried using it yesterday as I launched Krita for the first time, and they stylus is recognized, and it shows the path I am drawing, but it wont actually draw. I can make lines with my mouse, touch pad and using my finger on the screen, but not the stylus. Can anyone help? |

Which version of Krita are you using?
Is the Windows 8 Poiner API checkbox in settings->configure krita->tablet enabled? |

I just downloaded it less than a week ago so the newest one?
Also the Windows 8 Pointer was not checked off. |

"Newest" is not an exact answer... You can find the version of Krita in Help->About Krita, as is the case with pretty much every Windows application.
And when you say "was not checked off" do you mean that the option was on or off? It might also be useful to check the tablet log; https://docs.krita.org/en/KritaFAQ.html ... d-by-krita to see if Krita sees a tablet at all. It would also help if you could specify exactly what "touch screen dell laptop" you have and which "bluetooth paired stylus". |

I will check the version ASAP. Not on the computer I am working on.
In the Tablet Enabled, WinTab was checked, not Windows 8+ Pointer Input. I have a Dell Inspiron 7568 with a PN556W stylus. Like I said, it recognized that a stylus is there, but it doesn't make any brush strokes. |
