Which version of Windows are you using and which version of krita are you using? Have you tried downloading and using the latest version of ffmpeg?
Try this: https://ffmpeg.zeranoe.com/builds/ Use the Version 4.0.1 Static Linking build for your version of Windows. Are you rendering to video? There may be problems depending on which format you choose and which codecs are installed on your computer. Have you tried rendering to all available formats? Have you tried rendering to GIF (animated .gif, the output file is large but it's clean and simple and good for testing)? |

What version of krita are you using?
If you've been trying lots of different versions of ffmpeg, are you sure that the FFMpeg location entered into the Render Animation Krita window is the location of the latest ffmpeg version? Have you tried Rendering as Matroska video, Ogg Video or as GIF image? If not, please try them, especially GIF. If you select Both in the Export options at the top of the Render Animation window, do you get the full set of single frame images in the image location folder? Do you get none or do you get a partial range? Similarly, what do you get if you select Image Sequence (i.e no attampt at video encoding)? Can you provide a full screenshot of your krita window including the Render Animation window and the Animation Docker? |
