pressure sensitivity has worked in the past, although it sometimes took a bit to actually get it working, but it still always ended up working. now, after not using krita for quite a while now, i thought i'd get back to drawing. the pressure sensitivity is not working again, though, and i can't find a fix for it. i've tried configuring the toolbars to have pen pressure, i've updated my huion drivers, i've tried toggling opengl off and back on, nothing is working at all. i've tried multiple brushes with pen pressure compatibility as well, and none of them are working. pressure sensitivity is working in everything but krita, and i don't know why. another thing to note is that the pen's two buttons do not function in krita either, but do function elsewhere. all of these features worked previously, but now they don't. any solutions?

Well, obviously, since it used to work, and doesn't work now, something must have changed on your system. Krita's tablet support code has not changed for ages, so that's not it, therefore it must be something else. A windows update. A broken driver update. Broken driver settings...

Does the tablet tester applet (settings/configure krita/tablet/tablet tester) show tablet input?

If not, there definitely is something wrong with the driver installation.

You can also try to reset your system: reset Krita's settings (see the FAQ), reset Huion's settings (ask Huion how to do that: https://www.deviantart.com/huion/journa ... -439442607), reinstall the tablet driver and try again.

You could try to add another user to your system and test as that user. Or start Krita as administrator, and check whether that works.

You could try to make a tablet event log and see whether there are any tablet events sent to Krita: https://docs.krita.org/en/KritaFAQ.html ... d-by-krita

i wasn't expecting such a fast response, thank you. i'm not sure what you mean exactly by tablet tester in the settings. all i see are global pressure settings under tablet settings https://gyazo.com/047f12939d6b7b2236a7c7f4a6c2654e. if that is the issue, which drivers are the problem?

You need to update to 4.1.1 to have the tablet test.

i completely forgot to reply. i updated to the latest version and was still having no luck, as the tablet test only recognised the pen as the mouse. however i did get it work but enabling windows 8+ pointer input, and enabling windows ink again, now it works perfectly! let's just hope it stays that way

Thank you so much. It helped me a lot. I have Huion H950P. It worked on the tablet test but didn't work on a canvas. The cursor just didn't respond to the tablet completely. I just changed the setting to Windows8+ and everything works.
