I need a plugin/script that exports a jpg of the currently opened document for the web. The list of things I need are;
* a ui that lets me input a new resolution to resize the document * for the script to automatically change the ppi to 72 * for the script to export the document info and ppi info as exif data * a ui that gives me the option to turn the exported jpg into a square for instagram uploads (add black borders to top and bottom if landscape painting, black borders to left and right if portrait painting) I'm basically reaching out to anyone who can help me narrow down the information I need to digest to write this script. Aside from learning python and redoing the tutorial in the krita website again (I did the tutorial once, but I still feel like some dots aren't connecting, probably because of lack of python knowledge), what else do I need to learn? Do I need to learn pyqt? What should I learn to help me program the ui? Should I learn qt? Are there specific krita classes I need to pay attention to help me achieve the needs above? Sorry for asking too many questions. The extent of my programming experience is writing a few bash scripts here and there and a few intro to c++ programs waaaay back in college. I'm just trying to get a grip on the too much available information out there. Thanks for anyone who could give me a sense of direction. I just want to knock out this assignment in a week. It's probably unrealistic for a noob like me to be able to get it done in such a small timeframe, lol, but I don't want to lose time doing artwork ![]() |
