Hello, this is my first time posting on any kind of forum so I apologize if my words are a bit of a mess.
But, recently I've started having this problem where I can't find Krita files in file manager. (I use Windows 10 if it's important) For example, I've been working on this one drawing for a couple of days now, and I would open it using the open recent. I left it for a while and made some other things, so its spot in recent was replaced. I tried to find it in my folders instead, but I couldn't find it anywhere. This happened with another drawing too. It was finished and I wanted to find the saved jpg file to send, but again, it was nowhere in my files. Krita used to save just fine, and old saved pieces are still there, but it seems like something happened where now they're going to the wrong folder or not going to any folder at all. I hope I explained that well, please tell me if I confused you anywhere. Has anyone else had this issue? Or am I just blind? ;; But anyway, thank you very much for hearing me out, I hope you have a lovely day ![]() |

First thing you can do - open krita, create a new document, go to file -> save as - it uses the last directory you saved a document in. This can be a hint.
Second way - open your "documents" directory, it's the default location, look around. Third way - just search your entire system for Krita documents. The extension is "kra", so search for *.kra - this should find all the files with this extension. I myself do not use windows, so can't tell you how exactly you can perform the search, but this article seems to cover it: http://www.tomsitpro.com/articles/windo ... -1032.html Good luck ![]() |
