I am having difficulty with this program using my stylus. I have the dell stylus that uses Wacom technology. I forget the name but it is Dell's only pen that has 4096 levels of PS.
Anyway, It continues to not acknowledge the pen. Then when it does acknowledge the pen it will do random streak lines when I remove the pen from the screen. Palm rejection is not working because my hand, even my right hand that is holding the pen, is causing lines and dots to appear all over the canvas. I also use Autodesk Sketchbook. Within that program there is not a single error with the pen. Everything works perfectly including tilt and palm rejection. Krita recognizes my fingers in this time where it will not register the styli. I would much rather it recognize the styli and completely ignore my hands inputs like Sketchbook does. I mean in that program you can still do things like move your ruler around with two separate points of contact with the ruler but as far as drawing goes, as long as your pen is active your fingers and other pieces of skin can not do any drawing. Problem with sketchbook is that I need a means of measuring and as far as I can tell I can not import a measured ruler into the program. I heard I could do that in this program, Krita but also have not found it. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. |

You can switch touch recognition on and off in Krita's settings. If Krita doesn't recognize the pen, then the pen driver isn't loaded. See https://docs.krita.org/en/KritaFAQ.html ... d-by-krita for more information on figuring out that problem.

Angle and distance Measure Tool: https://docs.krita.org/fr/reference_man ... asure.html
The Tool Options docker shows the results. The angle is 0.0 to 90.0 from the horizontal over four quadrants so a bit of mental arithmetic is needed in some cases. |
