I've moved over to Krita from Photoshop on my Dell XPS 13, since Photoshop doesn't support the active screen and stylus. Love the software and really enjoying it.

When I try use it on my other laptop (a MSI GT72 Dominator), I have an issue where Krita does not recognise a portion of the Wacom tablet - the cursor stops until I leave the dead zone. I've marked out the area the wacom stops working in the image below;

Strangely, if I come in from the left hand side (from the toolbar) the cursor activates and allows me to commence drawing but without any pressure information, as can be seen by the squiggle in the center.

Do you have any advice on the issue? The Wacom works without problems in Photoshop, but I wish to use Krita on both laptops.

Thanks in advance

Hi, I don't own a license of Windows but I know the FAQ mention something that sound similar to your issue (a mapping issue):
https://docs.krita.org/en/KritaFAQ.html ... on-windows
Maybe it will help you.

Thanks Deevad, but that didn't help. I tried the remapping and both wintab and Qt with no difference.

Weird thing is that, with no document open the cursor responds normally, but as soon as I create a document then the issue occurs.

Additionally, the cursor does track the stylus through the zone in fill or select modes, but does not start anywhere within the area. I can start outside the area and draw through, but not within that zone. If I start a stroke outside the zone and draw into it, I get full normal response until I lift the stylus but cannot start a new stroke inside the zone.

mm... That sounds like a driver issue. I also heard Wacom made a bad version for Windows at one point.
But my knowledge to Windows system is so small, its probably better to let wait for someone with more knowledge to reply you.
