Hi
I have scanned in artwork that was done on blank white paper. I use the magic wand tool to cut out the white space, but when I put it in my application it has a white halo. Is there something I can do to take care of that halo? |

I'll assume that you're using the Contiguous Selection Tool in krita. That white halo is probably caused by the selection growing/shrinking in the wrong direction for your requirements and so including a small amount of the scanned white paper background.
In the Tool Options docker, when the Contiguous Selection Tool is being used, there's a slider bar for 'Grow/shrink selection'. If this is set to 3px (as an example) then set it to -1 or -2 px. i.e. a little bit the other way. You can adjust this to various values until you get the result that you want. Similarly, you can adjust the other parameters in there to see what they do. |

This tutorial talks about preparing an image with a white background for coloring: https://docs.krita.org/en/tutorials/com ... g-line-art , as does this one with lots of extra information: http://www.davidrevoy.com/article239/cl ... h-in-krita
