I have Krita 4.1.1 Portable from the Krita site.

Could you give the actual text? It might be a case of a bad translation. The only time Krita tells you something is overloaded and things work slow is whe the RAM(working memory) is full and Krita is now using the back-up system, (swapping). It does this in the statusbar.
