A few questions and I am here on a recommendation.

Firstly I am trying this free software because Draw With Jazza highly recommended it over all other free art programs that he had tested in a video. I figured I would just let you all know that.

Secondly I currently have a Huion H420 which I bought not too long ago, a tiny tablet, probably one of the smallest. I was using it for another free art program and it seems to work for that, but when I try it here, often when I do Ctrl-Z or even just randomly the screen seems to freeze, the movement of the pen ceases and or I can not draw at all. I have to generally move my mouse to get it going again. I switched out batteries with brand new ones so that is not the issue. The other art program does not freeze and as far as I am aware of the drivers are up to date.

And finally I am interested in getting a Huion Inspiroy H950P. I hear it has a tilt function. Will that tablet work with this program fully?

Hi, in case you didn't solve your issues:

• The H420 tablet is supposed to work with Krita (see link).
• (main menu > Settings > Configure Krita... > Display > Canvas Graphics Acceleration > Renderer) - Disable OpenGL or use Angle instead (old bug report link)
• (main menu > Settings > Configure Krita... > Tablet Settings) - Use the Windows 8 Pointer API.
• The H950P tablet, if I had the chance I would try it with Krita before buying
