I haven't been a frequent user of Krita. But I recently made the effort to learn more about it. I use Photoline as my goto editor and Krita as an extra 'too;'. Photoline has an 'external program' feature. I can sent an image or layer to many other editors, programs, plugins etc etc. I've been sending layers to Krita from Photoline. I've just downloaded and installed 4.1.3. Now every time I try to open a tiff file, either directly or from Photoline, I get an error message telling me Krita doesn't support tiff?
So am I doing something wrong or have I been dreaming before opening tiffs? bruce |

I uninstalled 4.1.3 and re installed 4.1.1 and the tiffs work fine.
So is it a bug or has something else changed in 4.1.3? The 4.1.3 refuses any attempt to open a tiff. I've installed and uninstalled both versions several times. HP Envy, 8 gig ram. Win 8.1. I've gone back to 4.1.1 and wont touch 4.1.3 again. bruce |

Yes, it was a bug in 4.1.3, or rather a build issue. It's fixed in the daily stable builds, and we'll release a new version, 4.1.4, tomorrow.

Thanks. At least I now know that it wasn't me doing something stupid.
