How to align an image?

Sun Oct 14, 2018 5:19 pm
Hi all,

I am new to Krita.
I am using release num 3, in Windows 10. Soon I'll be using it in Linux Mint 19 too.

I found the Align docker. My imported sketch is selected. But no matter what button I try in the docker it won't align the image.
What am I missing?

Thanks

Hi

I'm not sure but I think that those commands were for aligning vector objects not just regular paint/raster layers. My advice, if you can, is to use an updated version of Krita (see: https://krita.org/en/download/krita-desktop/): there you won't find the Align docker anymore but if you'll go to "View > Snap To" you'll probably find your way in aligning your raster artwork on canvas.

Hi mvowada,

Yeah, I did notice that option. I'll use snap to grid then.
Thanks :)
