Hi All,

I am totally new to Krita and was using the Bezier Curve tool and the edit shapes tool fine, opened a new page started next drawing and I couldn't use the edit shapes tool at all.
I have closed and restarted the program and the computer, I even deleted and reinstalled the program and I can use every tool except the edit shapes tool. Is there anyway to fix this?

Hi Tash,

I understand that all of a sudden you're not able to edit shapes anymore using the "Edit Path Tool".
If that is correct, I would update Krita and check if the problem persists (https://krita.org/en/download/krita-desktop/).

These are my steps in order to edit a shape:

1. create a new "Vector" layer (click the little down arrow sitting next to the plus button, at the bottom of the "Layers" docker)
2. grab the "Bezier Curve Tool"
3. create a path
4. grab the "Select Shapes Tool" (the first one with the arrow icon)
5. select the path
6. grab the "Edit Shapes Tool"
