That really is a dirty shutdown and it seems to corrupt your configuration files in some way. If you setup krita to your liking then you can save a copy of the configuration files for later restoration in case of this kind of incident.
https://docs.krita.org/en/KritaFAQ.html ... les-stored The file 'krtitarc' is important and any file there with a name starting with 'krita...' would be useful to save as a backup. Do you have your docker arrangements stored as a named Workspace and can you see that in the list and select it after this happens? If this happens often then I'd also make a backup of the entire resources folder, for later restoration, as a precaution. https://docs.krita.org/en/KritaFAQ.html ... ces-stored |

I tested by making new workspace and turn UPS off directly
Workspace doesn't disappear. So I think default workspace resets. I reported this because I've not seen in older versions before. I'm not sure this is bug or not. If this 's a bug, this 's a rare bug. Krita 4.1.5

The kritarc file contains a full description of the current docker arrangements, not just a reference to a workspace file. It also contains the list of Recent Files. That seems to suggest that kritarc is being corrupted and then when krita restarts it has to reset kritarc to the default condition. It may be that some other file is being corrupted resulting in krita performing a full reset back to default configuration.
Restoring from a saved copy of the kritarc file (and any other 'krita...' config files) may take care of this and I suggest that you try it. The fact that it didn't happen in older versions is something a Developer would need to comment on. It's good that you have a UPS. It sounds like the only thing you can do is perform a manual Save and Exit then shutdown when there is a power cut. I wish you good luck in all of this. |

.kra file was corrupted I think. It's saying invalid.
But thanks to .~kra I got 60% back. It'd be better recovery file save more often.
I just went and bought new 1250VA UPS today. ^^
