I am wondering about the impossibility of editing text - SOMETIMES (
![]() With krita 4.1.0 I am about to finish my new cartoon, and do not remember the name of the font I used in the past. So I opened some older projects (created with older versions of krita), and cannot open the text-vectors. Highlight with the select-tool, and then switch to the text-tool (sometimes it works / worked in the past, by using the text-tool directly). "Edit Text Button" appears, but after a mouse click, nothing happens. So there´s no way to edit text - in my case? |

Yes, in Krita 4.0 we retired the old text tool and warned people that the text in their old kra files be no longer editable, though for now, Krita can still load the files. See the warning in https://krita.org/en/krita-4-0-release-notes/

Ok, thank you. Had not read that.
I´m easy now because it is a known cause, and not a bug, raised by something I did "wrong". |
