Krita Keeps Making Random Lines (Help)

Hello,
I am posting because i'm using the Pen Display Huion GT-191 Digital Graphics Drawing Tablet Monitor with 19.5 Inch HD Screen 8192 Pen Pressure for Windows and Mac PC (GT-191) with Krita v.4.1.5 and I keep getting a problem where random lines will shoot out of whatever i'm drawing, sometimes extending incredibly far past the canvas. It's making the file size grow exponentially and slowing down the performance, and the bigger the file gets the more often the lines occur.
As far as I can tell, this problem started after I downloaded and installed v4.1.5, at the same time that I installed two different brush packs. Initially I thought the brush packs could be at fault, after realizing they were about a year old and fit for an older version of krita. but I removed one of the brush packs and have been using krita's default brushes since and the problem is still happening.

I have a photo highlighting the lines and two videos showing the lines occurring, but I don't know how to attach them.

Thank you for your help.

If this happens with 4.1.5 and not with 4.1.3, it might be caused by https://phabricator.kde.org/R37:ea7a736 ... dfc53c73d1 (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=363284).

Please test with 4.1.3 to see if that helps, use the portable zip version so you don't have to reinstall, and if it helps, please report a bug on bugs.kde.org.

If it doesn't make a difference, double-check whether you've got a huion driver update installed around the same time.

Thank you for your help! How exactly do I get the portable zip version? And how do I go about reporting a bug? It all seems very confusing to me.
I should add that I am using a mac, not windows.

Update:
I tried krita v.4.1.3, the lines were still happening. I tried downloading the driver again from huion, which i haven't done since I bought my tablet a year ago, I wasn't sure if drivers need updates but I got the one they had on their website so i'm assuming it's the latest one? Installation was successful. The lines were still happening. I tried to remove all my brush bundles and only use the default krita ones, the lines still happened.

I'm really at a loss, I have no idea what's causing this or how to fix it, and it's incredibly frustrating

Man, you have really bad luck with IRC. Keep in mind most of the developers are located in Europe, so IRC is very quiet in the time of day that is in the middle of the night for them. My laptop caught your messages at 4 a.m. a few days ago.

You said you have pressure sensitivity working, but strangely. You can adjust Krita internal pressure curve (make it concave or convex, probably convex in your case; you can also make the end point lower so you don't need to press that hard to get 100% pressure in Krita) in Configure Krita -> Tablet Settings. You can also check if change of the tablet driver API (Wintab vs. Windows 8+ Pointer) makes a difference.
