I'm trying to define a specific size of a rectangle on a vector layer which turned out to be a total nightmare. Where can I set the desired dimensions for the object? Since according to https://docs.krita.org/en/reference_man ... uides.html it's not even possible to set pixel dimensions on guides.

So trying to set area boundaries using a rectangle is a pain in itself, but not finding the tools to do is isn't making the job any easier. :( In the tool options the only option is to define percentages... Please make this more intuitive.

I'm not sure which version you using, and thus if the features had landed yet on it, I can tell you that in the developing branch (is the only one I use) there are controls for the size/position of the objects, there could be predefined on the object tool like rectangle-tool, or you can modify an existing object with the select-shapes-tool (arrow). Again, not sure if this is new (only in the pre 4.2) as I haven't use Krita's vector for a bit, thus you can be assured that a least if not on your version, is going to be available soon. ;)

Everything Quiralta mentions is in version 4.1.5 and I'm sure it was in 4.1.4 and 4.1.3 as well. Which version are you using?

For initial 'quick' placement and size, the Grid and Guides docker is useful with Show grid checked and maybe Snap to grid checked if you want shapes that can be easily matched up with each other in terms of alignment.

I'm using 4.1.5. Thanks guys, looking forward to more flexible vector options.
