Krita 4.1 has replaced the Reference Image Docker with a Tool but in the process a feature I found extremely useful has disappeared: when I move the canvas, the reference image moves too. Is there any way I could pin the reference image so that it doesn't move when I adjust the canvas position?
It's a real shame this feature has been removed and I would love for it to be re-added in a future version! |

It won't be ideal for you but you can open the reference image as normal, along with your working image and then display them as Subwindows instead of Tabs.
Settings -> Configure Krita -> General -> Window -> Multiple Document Mode (drop-down list). Then you can zoom and pan around in either or both independently. Depending on how you tile or overlap the two subwindows, you may lose some working screen canvas area but the method may be of use to you. |

Same type of comment just happened earlier, you probably miss it: viewtopic.php?f=139&t=155899 Also: https://phabricator.kde.org/T5805 By the way, the workaround @ahabgreybeard mentioned, is exactly what I use when in need of a reference image without the zoom factor ![]()
