Hi all, first post here, so greetings to the community first
![]() I installed Krita some time ago, and now wanted to try the first sketches. I'm using a WACOM tablet, that basically works fine with Inkscape and GIMP. However, in Krita, I can't get the pressure sensitivity to work. I already searched for possible settings to enable pressure sensitivity and stumbled across a thread that described to enable the "Use pen pressure" action within the toolbar. Following this advice, I discovered that when searching the available actions of the "Brushes and stuff" toolbar, there is no "Use pen pressure" action available. So now I'm stuck with Krita not recognizing the pen pressure from my tablet, and I haven't found any other solution so far. Im running Krita 2.9.7 on Ubunt 16.04 on a 64bit enginge. Glad if anyone can help me solve this problem ![]() Thanks |

Please, update to a recent version of Krita first: we just released 4.1.7. You can get the appimage from krita.org/download. Your version is really old. If you still have a problem with the latest version, you can use the tablet tester utility from the settings dialog to see whether Krita is getting tablet events at all. See https://docs.krita.org/en/reference_man ... tings.html

Of course: you have a very old version of Ubuntu, which does not put updated applications in its repositories. That's why I asked you to download the appimage from https://krita.org/download. If you don't know what an appimage is, check https://www.davidrevoy.com/article322/k ... e-for-cats
